| | | If you're looking for a homely option, but still keen to enjoy the luxuries that a hotel can offer, Pensjonat Tuberoza is arguably your best bet. It's run by a friendly, welcoming Polish family who spent some time living in America and speak excellent English. The pension is located in an attractive pre-war villa and the interior has been decorated in a gracious, traditional style. Besides an excellent Polish breakfast that's included in the price, there are all kinds of unexpected extras, not least the best pool table we've played on in this fair country. Also on hand are a jacuzzi, a fitness room and a kids play room, so something for all weathers. Guset roms come in singles, doubles and apartments, and all come with bathrooms and TV. Good central location and handy private parking. | |
