| | | Sabala is the most central option in town, right on the main street Krupowki. It originally opened back in 1894, playing host to a flamboyant troop of artists, poets and wits, as well as the hotel's namesake - the legendary folk singer Sabala. The hotel is now back in the hands of its original owners and they have brought this fine villa right up to date, but without losing the age-old charm of the place. Rooms are decorated in an understated, classic fashion, letting the fine highland pine set the tone. Bathrooms are modern and elegant, whilst a hearty restaurant is on hand to assuage the hiker's appetite. | |
